Suzaku Avenue "Interiors" Review

Hailing from Dublin,Ireland Suzaku Avenue are a relatively new band and it shows on this their debut EP Interiors but don't let that put you off listening to it, as there's a lot of potential in what they're trying to achieve.

Diegesis is a fantastic song to kick off procedings,an absolute rip-roaring track with Varying Vocal styles ranging from viciously aggressive to clean singing backed up by an excellent wall of sound in a way similar to Dillinger Escape Plan. Enabler(Modest Proposal) follows along the same template as the opening track along with lyrical content about relationship issues. Third track I Think I Know What This Is About is a Hauntingly Epic track(almost hitting the 10 minute mark),with a lot of emotion and feeling touching on relationship woes & frustrations. Final track Second-Order is a fitting ending to a somewhat worthwhile EP, Suzaku Avenue may well be learning their craft but they sure as hell offer a lot of on this EP.

The Underlying current of social urban decay, social & relationship issues running throughout the EP only further feed the urge to want to hear what the band has to offer in the future,in ending the band show plenty of honesty, emotion & feeling on this release, Traits that make you want to see the band achieve a high level of success in the future.
