INTO THE VOID 1st Anniversary Gig Review

Greetings and Mighty hails to all who turned out for this amazing show, apologies to Psykosis and Twisted Mass as i didn't get to see either of them, third on the line up were Cursed Earth Performing live in Dublin for the first time in 16 Years and what an enjoyable performance it was, they blasted out all the good ole tunes from Perfect Armour to I Heard a Funeral In My Brain what a great response the audience gave them and you could see the lads really enjoyed playing,it was a pity the lads had to cut their Set short because of Guitarist Barry ''Bat'' Kinane blowing the amplifier up(how Metal Is That), have to admit that i felt a certain pride seeing them been a Wicklow native myself, would be great if they decided to do another gig in the not too distant future;Next Up were the Headline act for the night Mighty Death Doom Merchants Mourning Beloveth,it was their first time playing live in Fourteen Months, there was also a great audience for them, they performed an Epic Set of Classics such as The Sickness,The Mountains are Mine and numerous other songs,Mourning Beloveth have this vibe about them of extreme Agony yet so Beautiful at the same time, anyway they were highly enjoyable and what an Epic and Beautiful performance by them;Next up were a personal Favourite of mine Death/Grind Legends Abaddon Incarnate, pity the crowds for Cursed Earth And Mourning Beloveth had dispersed a bit, their setlist ranged from old to newer tunes including classics such as Temple Of Rancid Filth,Nihilist,Burn With the Sun God and a recent song from The Split 7'' with Phobia Vermin Apocalypse,AI are one of the most Brutal live acts I've ever seen and they were very good on the night, hopefully the folks in Russia take to their vicious brand of Death Grind like some of the punters on the night when they embark on their tour at the end of March;Final act of the night were Brains, what a breath of fresh air these guys are, they had the audience rocking and grooving to their 70's inspired Eclectic Occult Stoner Rock playing tracks such as Wolfbeast,3ft Wide 7ft Tall and Muddy Waters,in my opinion Brains are going to around for many a year to come appealing to Rock and Metal Fans alike and I'll be looking forward to seeing these guys again.

Last But Not Least I'd like to take the Time to Wish all the Staff at Into The Void And The Devils Den A Happy Birthday, and may they continue to be Successful in the many years to come
Don't Forget Keep on Rocking ......And Keep it Metal
