Evil Force "Banging On The Pentagram" Review
Hellacious Thrash/Speed Metal from Paragauy, Five Piece Evil Force formed in 2005 and have released alot of splits(with the likes of Pyoveli, Under Assault & Necrolisis),EP's and two full length albums including this one "Banging On The Pentagram".
Evil Force play a brand of Thrash/Speed Metal in the vein of early Destruction, Venom & Razor. This album is a solid all killer no filler headbanger with alot of quality & stellar musicianship, despite the fact that they pay homage to such legendary bands they are in no way generic or boring, in fact in some aspects they do it better then their peers;standout tracks include Banging on The Pentagram, Southern Armageddon, Toxic Warfare, Under Oracle's Design & Offering To Horus(Instrumental). As a whole the album is extremely good & well worth a listen(or more).
A Full On Thrash Metal Armageddon, Full of great musicianship with a homage to the Old School Style.

Hailing from Beunos Aries, Argentina, this is the debut release form 80's inspired Power/Speed Metal band Steelballs.
this EP has all the hallmarks of classic 80's Power/Speed Metal, highly influenced by legends such as Blind Guardian, Helloween, Accept, Manowar & Grave Digger; Consisting of three original tracks and a cover of the Helloween track Starlight, the EP may be short but sure as hell has all the trademarks of quality Power/Speed Metal,it's really uplifting, fun, anthemic, full of raw energy and personality.
All in all this is a fantastic EP,a full on Leather Clad,Sword Weilding Heavy Metal Attack

Stormdeath "Time To Destroy" Review
Sweden has spawned many Legendary Death & Black Metal bands throughout the years but they're not known to be a hotbed for Thrash Metal. Formed in 2008 Stormdeath have released two EP's and this gem of an album Time To Destroy.
Stormdeath offer a alcohol fueled, destructive, raw & blistering brand of Thrash Metal that's a must for fans of Old School Slayer, Venom, Destruction & Motorhead. every track on offer is very anthemic while also adding that special old school thrash metal vibe. The Most memorable tracks on the album(For me) are We Are The Devils, Time To Destroy, Pay The Price & Accursed, but i'm sure most of the album tracks will be to everyones liking.
In Ending i'm looking forward to hearing more Thrashtastic shenanigans form Stormdeath in the future and in the meantime i'll blast this slab of quality until their next release.

SpiritBell "Guided By Evil Light" Review
Hailing from Hungary SpiritBell are a traditional Heavy Metal band, the band formed in 2010 during that time the released three demos, then they were on a brief hiatus from 2013 til 2016 and then released this EP.
Opening track The Nameless Soldier is a solid in your face headbanger with strong doom elements and a vocal style somewhat similar to early Accept, this seems to be a running theme throughout the album, i'm not saying this is a bad thing for the band to do,nothing wrong with paying homage to someone as legendary as Udo Dirkschneider; Furthermore this is a pretty solid release with a lot of quality on offer including tracks such as Desert Ghost, The Flying Dutchman, Breath Of The Raven & the added bonus of a cover of the Cirith Ungol track Doomed Planet.
Hopefully the band can get a consistent run of writing newer material as a few of the tracks on this release previously appeared on their demo releases, nonetheless this release is well worth giving a listen as it shows how the bands sound has progressed on each release,

Blackened "Truth Behind Destruction" Review
Brazil has been producing quality Thrash & Heavy Metal bands for a long time and it's no different withBlackened, formed in 2013 the band have thus far released a demo,a split(with Emergencia),an EP and this their full length debut "Truth Behind Destruction".
Drawing influences from Old School Thrash,Hardcore and Traditional Heavy Metal blended with a sound all their own Blackened take the listener on a no holds barred visceral thrash attack with tracks like The Front Remains,Chemical Terror, Brain Control & title track Truth Behind Destruction, there's a few homages to traditional heavy metal on tracks like Into Lunacy & Extreme Violence.
As a whole this is a fantastic debut album,if you like no nonsense Thrash Metal this album is right up your street:Blackened are a band with massive potential and i for one look forward to hearing more quality Thrash escapades in the future.

INTO THE VOID 1st Anniversary Gig Review
Greetings and Mighty hails to all who turned out for this amazing show, apologies to Psykosis and Twisted Mass as i didn't get to see either of them, third on the line up were Cursed Earth Performing live in Dublin for the first time in 16 Years and what an enjoyable performance it was, they blasted out all the good ole tunes from Perfect Armour to I Heard a Funeral In My Brain what a great response the audience gave them and you could see the lads really enjoyed playing,it was a pity the lads had to cut their Set short because of Guitarist Barry ''Bat'' Kinane blowing the amplifier up(how Metal Is That), have to admit that i felt a certain pride seeing them been a Wicklow native myself, would be great if they decided to do another gig in the not too distant future;Next Up were the Headline act for the night Mighty Death Doom Merchants Mourning Beloveth,it was their first time playing live in Fourteen Months, there was also a great audience for them, they performed an Epic Set of Classics such as The Sickness,The Mountains are Mine and numerous other songs,Mourning Beloveth have this vibe about them of extreme Agony yet so Beautiful at the same time, anyway they were highly enjoyable and what an Epic and Beautiful performance by them;Next up were a personal Favourite of mine Death/Grind Legends Abaddon Incarnate, pity the crowds for Cursed Earth And Mourning Beloveth had dispersed a bit, their setlist ranged from old to newer tunes including classics such as Temple Of Rancid Filth,Nihilist,Burn With the Sun God and a recent song from The Split 7'' with Phobia Vermin Apocalypse,AI are one of the most Brutal live acts I've ever seen and they were very good on the night, hopefully the folks in Russia take to their vicious brand of Death Grind like some of the punters on the night when they embark on their tour at the end of March;Final act of the night were Brains, what a breath of fresh air these guys are, they had the audience rocking and grooving to their 70's inspired Eclectic Occult Stoner Rock playing tracks such as Wolfbeast,3ft Wide 7ft Tall and Muddy Waters,in my opinion Brains are going to around for many a year to come appealing to Rock and Metal Fans alike and I'll be looking forward to seeing these guys again.
Last But Not Least I'd like to take the Time to Wish all the Staff at Into The Void And The Devils Den A Happy Birthday, and may they continue to be Successful in the many years to come
Don't Forget Keep on Rocking ......And Keep it Metal
